Internet of Things

The internet of things covers connecting devices to a network or the internet and have them talk to each other. This is opposed to the traditional use of the internet where it is mainly used to let people talk to each other. With the advent of small electronics, more and more devices will be connected to the internet. This can range from connecting your home appliances to the internet to report on your power consumption, you fridge reporting you're out of milk, or you checking up on your kids, to more commercial and industrial applications like automating farms and aquaculture ponds.

We mainly focus on smart buildings, where Entheos and the College of Fine Arts and Architecture and it's incubator Estudio Damgo are our main partners, and together with the College of Agriculture, College of Arts and Sciences we focus on smart farming and environmental monitoring.
